Hello and Welcome to my page. I’m Anshuka, a passionate educator, children’s book author, and proud resident of Ontario, Canada, where I live with my lovely family and our adorable furry friend, Coco.
With over 20 years of teaching experience, I’ve had the joy of working with children from Kindergarten to Grade 5. While most of my time has been spent with Grade 5, I’ve recently found a special connection with the 6–7 age group, perhaps because my own kids are now grown, and I cherish the innocence and playful spirit of younger children more than ever.
After many meaningful years in the classroom, I’ve embraced a new adventure: writing children’s books. My stories are inspired by everyday moments in school, the laughter, learning, challenges, and triumphs I’ve witnessed firsthand.
My writing explores themes close to my heart:

Magical Friendship Wall is a story inspired by real-life school experiences. It celebrates empathy, imagination, and the joy of young friendships blossoming through creativity and understanding.
I believe that every child has a story, a voice, and a spark of magic within. Through both teaching and writing, I hope to encourage that spark to shine brightly.
